The Invited at the Alma in crystal palace on saturdayday 8 July 06 - Gig Review
It was a Saturday night up the Palace, nice! One of them good old south London music pubs called the Alma. The evening started out quite just as the sound meter on the wall wanted it. During sound check and through the first 6 songs the fecking thing cut us off about I don’t know too many times. Its there to keep the sound down & it made us turn everything right down, yet watching back the video shows we can make music with out being really loud. (See the gig on my video page). Al our fantastic harmonica guy had some friends turn up, which was nice and saved the day as the pub was how you say not packed, but the few folk that were there seemed to be enjoying the music. We went on the wee little stage at about 9.15pm and played an 18 song set till 11 pm ending to very loud roars of MORE! We did take the piss after the tenth song because our great drummer Mark needed a wee. The songs were great fun to play and we felt like 2 hours flew by. Mick the promoter up the Alma said he likes us and has offered us a regular gig there once a month.

The Invited at the black sheep bar in croydon on wednesday 24 May - Gig Review
SO! There’s Mark David and me (Deb) ready and waiting on stage last night for Tony & Al to appear from the changing room in full drag. What a laugh hearing the cry’s of oh my God coming from the chuffed audience seeing Tony & Al in wigs & dresses even David had a mini skirt & super blouse on. We kicked off with a well played but rather dirty loud sounding Fantasy, the vocals were a bit lost volume wise. Next was Bread head it was very big & even louder so we all just got well into it & Al’s harmonica was great. Jesus was a mushroom worked well as a chilled out wanna be reggae song with good BV ‘s from Mark & Tony. Mental Daze was MENTALLY LOUD but great fun to play. The whole gig was FAB fun & all our 9 songs were very well played & received. TELL ME is on my video page warning it’s loud & it ROCKS!
