why this page?
Dana International sings in a number of languages. Most of her songs before the release of her first international album Free have been in her mother tongue Hebrew, but her breakthrough came with Sa'ida Sultana - which was sung in a mix of Arabic dialect and English. Some of her technoish songs are sung in nurseryrhyme "French", "Italian" or "English".

Dana's records have mostly included lyrics in the CD booklets, but as most of her international fans can't read Hebrew - and make even less sense of the Arabic lyrics in latin-letters transcription - I have put together files with translations of most of her non-English songs. (This work would not have been possible without the help of Ziv Geri and Meital Itzhaky - thank you both!) For the records where there are no lyrics in the booklet, I have included all lyrics.

technical notes on the files
As I wanted to include the original lyrics in Hebrew and Arabic along with the translations, the only option was to turn the lyrics file into a PDF-file. This means you will have to have the program Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in able to open the file. The program can be downloaded free of charge from Adobe - just click on the icon Get Acrobat Reader to the left. The program is available for all kinds of computers - Windows-compatible, Macs, Unix, Linux, you name it.
