The Decoy Dialler By Aztech This is very simple. All you need is 1.One Modular jack with four wires protruding(any length will do) 2.One SPST switch 3.A case(optional) 4.One LED(to make it look flashy and professional) Take the modular jack, and break a small piece of the bar at the edge. This is the bar that keeps the plug in the socket.Break it clean at the lip that is supposed to sit outside the socket(Basically, sowhen its plugged in,it cant be removed)Connect the SPST switch and the modular jack and the LED in the fashion shown below: |-----| | | Modular Jack |-----| | | | | | | | | | | ------------- | | | |Unused Lines | | | | | # LED BLUE| |RED --/ -- SWITCH Now go to your favourite corporation or school or whatever, and plug this in. (Extra fun can be had by putting superglue on the edge of the modular jack) Now flick the switch, and calmly walk away. All the phones on that line will ring with a constant ringing tone, with no pause until the device is disconnected. Now laugh at the helpless goons running round trying to find the fault with their phone system, not noticing that littleblack box on the floor.Hahaha.. Another use for this is as a very discreet bugging device. When this is connected and the phone is off the cradle,it will mute the engaged and error tones, and amplify the signal going in the mic.Just pick up any fone on the same line to hear everything that goes on in that room.WARNING!Hanging the phone back on the cradle will trigger the decoy dialler and that obnoxious ringing. (NB:Picking up any phones while the device is connected will stop the ringing so superglue a few down before you do this for best results) ---=[AZTECH]=---
