On the evening of nov 20th during the anti-bush demonstration 3 people were arrested & charged with various public order offences. They are all arrested on lower regents street. We are urgently looking for people who were on & around the area with or following the samba band.
During the evening the samba band left Trafalgar square followed by a crowd of people. As the crowd made their way down regent’s street towards Piccadilly there were scuffles, confrontations with the police. This is where the 3 people were all arrested (in 3 separate incidents). All are pleading not guilty. If anyone was with the samba band as they left Trafalgar square & up to Piccadilly please contact us , you may not have seen the incidents in question but any (& I do mean any) information, however trivial, could be crucial. Plus if you have any video footage or photographs they too could be more than useful.
