The World Today in my perspective

December 15, 2002

Stereolab's Mary Hansen died. She was hit on her bicycle, so much for alternative transportation. Many will miss her, my sympathy goes to her family and the band.

U.S. oil and drug affairs are once again seriously flared up, promising death to many innocent people. Many people here in the United States still don't see any importance in what their government bombs. I suggest a serious wake up call; tell your neighbors, tell your siblings, your spouse, your children, your friends, and make sure you tell yourself. There is a problem, our way of life creates misery and we generally don't care. This is something that needs to change, you as an individual must make change in yourself. Get out there and support your local activities, protest, march, distribute literature, do whatever you can to make your voice loud and clear. Say no to this shit.

If you are still reading, why dont you also check out some underground music and be supportive to local musicians? Check out some old stuff too, Skip James is a good musician to appreciate. What about; Brother Inferior, Alice Cooper, Maldoror? Listen to it.
