Dogs legs
Dear zinc, Why is it that dogs have four legs when we only have two?

dear canine pal,
This question raises many other questions....but first, lets deal with the one at hand. It all comes down to species...dogs are canines...we are humans, humans have two legs, canines have four. Thats the basic answer.
Another answer...which some believe, is when the great god "ladel" decided to make different species...he gave us all four legs. When man laughed at his name and made lots of "soup" jokes, he got mad and tore two of ours off...when he tore womens legs off, he went too far and created a hole...so he took it easy with men and left a stump.
the shame of the whole thing is he also took away our ability to lick ourselves. He was a very mean god.
